A&C Precision was started in February 2014 by Alan Ramsay & Chris McKellican. Having worked on Star sliding head lathes together for nearly 20 years they decided to start their own business.
Both directors took manufacturing engineering positions in the heavy sector in Aberdeen. In these roles the experience gained was crucial to starting A&C Precision. With the support and expert advice from Business Gateway Dundee and Star GB, the business was set up in Dundee in February 2014 with 2 Star sliding head machines.
A&C Precision has grown rapidly in the first 2 years and has doubled in personnel and machinery. Both directors have a clear vision and aim to grow the business whilst maintaining the standards set by investing in the latest machinery and technology available.
